Sweater weather is here and we’re leaning into all things cozy! This month’s beauty crushes include a rich, coffee-hued mani that’s giving fall vibes, a lip-blurring wonder with skincare cred, a Canadian curl-loving concoction and an eye cream that’s ready to pep up tired peepers. Plus, a one-and-done shadow stick that makes getting glam a cinch and a budget-friendly brow gel that tames unruly hair in a flash.
Enjoy the bounty, because a little beauty fall pick-me-up makes saying goodbye to summer a little easier.

This rich coffee hue

satisfies my yearning for a seasonally-appropriate dark mani, while feeling like a modern alt to classic red or burgundy. Historically, I have not been the biggest fan of brown. It always felt a bit meh and other neutrals, like black, grey or navy, were more apt to get my attention. But I’m fully on board with this polish shade called Ganache. The shine factor is noteworthy. And I also appreciate that the teensy bottle, a steal at $10, is designed to limit my chances of ending up with a half-bottle of sad, clumping polish that goes totally goes to waste.

amongst the vast sea of glosses,

oils and glazes, this balm is leading the matte lip charge. After one swipe, I knew this tinted balm-lipstick hybrid was going to be an instant fave for so! many! reasons! It’s pigmented but buildable, the formula is so moussey and comfortable to wear (non-drying!) and you can blur it out with your finger so easily (which is my favourite way to wear any lip). Not to mention it’s packed with hydrating ingredients and comes in a weighty glass tube. The shades ‘On My Terms’ and Power Suit are my top picks but all the hues are stunning.

This curl custard really is that girl!

With a juicy mix of incredible hydrators, including shea butter, coconut oil and a blend of maqui berry, goji fruit extract, bamboo and protein, it leaves my curls soft, shiny, and defined. The hold is impressibly long-lasting, once styled and dry I’m getting great day 2 and 3 curls that require little to no touching up. It does all the things, without any crunch. The high slip formula has a delicate banana cream scent that doesn’t linger too long, plus (and we love this) it’s Made in Canada. Whoop whoop!

i’m deeply obsessed with eye creams.

Because my under-eyes are perpetually dry, I’m always looking for my next favourite eye potion that will hydrate and smooth that delicate skin. Jouviance’s new vitamin C, caffeine and peptide-infused formula hits the spot with its hydrating yet lightweight texture. It also contains light-reflecting pigments that give tired eyes an instant brightness and the pièce de résistance? The roll-on applicator has three minisule roller balls that help to gently massage and de-puff dark circles.

An immediate yes!

I’ve been using these super creamy eyeshadow sticks on the daily and don’t intend to quit anytime soon. Brought to us by celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, the earthy shade range consists of stunning shimmers and pitch perfect mattes that glide on, set in, stay put and resist creasing. The reddish-brown hue called Cocoa Cherry Cola is a fave, and I’m also fond of how Amber Haze adds a glint along my lower lash line. You’re going to have to Sophie’s Choice it on shades, or treat yourself to more than one ~ I can guarantee you’ll have zero regrets if you do.

my eyebrow hair needs help.

’m cursed with long, unruly brow hairs that need constant supervision. Finding a gel that can keep these rogue strands in place is a challenge. Until I met this new strong hold glue. A clear formula that layers well with other pens and pencils, this brow mascara is the real deal. I love that it has a spoolie, wide-tooth comb and brush all in one and that the glue itself holds all hairs in place for hours on end. And with a $6 price tag?! What’s not to love.
